In today’s episode of “Healing From Within” host Sheryl Glick welcomes Simran Singh author of Conversations with the Universe-How the World Speaks to Us. Simran is recognized as a transformational catalyst and humorist in the realms of metaphysics, spirituality and motivation and is the award winning publisher of 11:11 Magazine and hosts a syndicated Talk Radio show on Voice America 7th Wave. Simran’s book shares techniques for recognizing the continuous flow of guidance and communication from Universal Energy in the forms of higher messages we all are receiving via synchronicity, coincidences, numbers, names, dreams, and animal symbols. Her techniques are helpful for developing a workable vocabulary to adequately process and utilize these messages for the purpose of fully appreciating the richness and beauty of our physical lives and also for handling the many obstacles and challenges we face in a more positive and productive way.

Sheryl who is the author of Life Is No Coincidence-The Life and Afterlife Connection and her soon to be released new book The Living Spirit—Answers for Healing and Infinite Love observes a coincidence while reading the introduction to Simran’s book… Simran spoke of numbers as meaningful signs to understanding our inner lives and connections to other people. Sheryl immediately noticed the name of Simran’s radio show, 11:11 on the 7th Wave edition of Voice America. Sheryl’s mom passed away several years ago on 11/ 7 and was born on the 11th ...an immediate connection between both authors for interpreting messages from the Universe. Simran goes on to express that 11 is a master number that indicates tremendous spiritual unfolding and for the person drawn to this number, it is a gateway between the spiritual and physical…positive and negative…reality and illusion..the human condition and spiritual mastery and a clue that their circumstances or life plan may reflect this awareness. Furthermore, as Simran says, “the number 11:11 shows we are each of us the Ones and are part of the ONE”.

As pointed out in Simran’s and Sheryl’s experiences, there is much symbolism and meaning in studying numerology, birth names, dreams, and ordinary changes in life cycles for a deeper exploration of our lives and for accessing Universal Energy for healing on a multi-dimensional level and also for manifesting the best life possible. It seems nothing is “Random” and all the people, situations, and experiences in our lives are part of a deeper life plan: the signs of the Universe and our intuition or communication from Spirit, makes it easier to walk our human path and to find divine expressions of love from Above.

In describing her earlier experiences and what she calls the dark night of her soul, her marriage fell apart, she is alone and only prayer and asking for HELP seemed appropriate. Not knowing what to do, she began her journey to her inner source of being. The people she refers to here have been inspirational guides for her spiritual evolution.

  1. Simran goes on to mention an 11 day silent retreat in the sacred mountains of Machu Picchu.
  2. Earthing, written by Ober, Sinatra and Zucker, suggests beneath the feet is not merely a patch of grass and dirt or concrete, but an omnipresent source of natural healing energy. We are electrical creatures on an electrical planet. Nature can support and heal sickness, pain and inflammation…connect to the earth and balance the earth. Breathe up and through the earth.
  3. Debbie Ford, another influential source for Simran, suggests COURAGE helps us when confronted by choices that make us confident or rob us of our desires…standing in strength and feeling good about the self and the power to accomplish anything emerges.
  4. Beauty Blueprint a thought by Michelle Phillips, suggest that reclaiming the essence of what makes a person beautiful from the inside out is the connection between your outer appearance and deep inner self. Looking good is a byproduct of feeling great.
  5. Pema Chodron in her writing “When Things Fall Apart”, says there is only one approach to suffering that is of long lasting benefit. That involves moving towards painful situations with friendliness and curiosity, relaxing into the essential groundlessness of the entire situation…In the midst of chaos, the truth and love that is indestructible is revealed.
  6. Serving Humanity by Alice Bailey…True service is the spontaneous outflow of a loving heart and an intelligent mind, it is the result of being in the right place and staying there: it is produced by the inevitable flow of spiritual force and not by strenuous physical plane activity: it is the effect of a man’s being what he truly is, a Divine son/daughter of God and not by the studied effects of his words and deeds.
Discovering the many components of Universal language are seen in the statements of those seekers and spiritual teachers listed previously and it begins for each of us by becoming aware of the magic in life and that some beliefs such as trusting others and not yourself may limit you. Becoming open and trusting that you are unique and valuable enough for the Universe to speak specifically to you and that you have within you the ability to shift any or all limiting perceptions for the purpose of healing and growth. It is the only way to finally realize how strongly FEAR has played a role in your life. Fear may be conquered by following the signs, which are all around you in the form of synchronistic events, coincidences, numbers, names, dreams and body and animal symbolism. This form of interaction with a higher presence will help you realize you are not alone and have never been from the moment of birth. For some, this will be a great awakening. Hopefully at this moment, you will also realize you are exactly as you are supposed to be and have all the resources you need to create a fulfilling life.

Simran suggests Five Questions that may be helpful in setting the foundation for self-realization in all life events by facilitating further communication with higher Source.

They include:
  1. Where is that in me?
  2. What is it here to teach me?
  3. What is the gift in this experience?
  4. What dormant trait, talent, or experience can I now discover?
  5. How can I lean into and pour love onto a person or situation, right now?
It is known that the signs of higher wisdom and inspiration from the Universe may be seen in artwork, music, books, the connections to numbers, names, locations, and the human body or senses, and also in relationships that advance feelings of goodness, kindness, compassion and love within us. People who express the thought that “Life is hard” are not fully awakened to the clues or messages that are possible in a personal communication with Spirit. As a result, many are not living a balanced and harmonious life…they are at half-mast. As Simran suggests through your life experiences certain lessons are learned, and you may be seen as the Mess, the Message of Healing, and the Messenger of Universal Communication. The wounds you hold and the dysfunction you engage in are you, as the Mess..the wisdom gained in traveling through an experience of yourself is the Message and the individual you transform into by making it to the other side of the situation allows you to be experienced as the Messenger.

Simran says that Nature speaks constantly and the Universe teaches about change that can be seen through the changing seasons. It seems through shapes, color, textures, smells and varied animal life forms, Nature provides expressions about the world and life. The illustrations of beginnings and endings, birth and death, depletion and renewal is everywhere, yet we forget it just as we like to forget that change will and must happen. Often change can feel as if it is forced upon an individual, but change is like the changing seasons and with gradual allowing, it is a process of graduation and evolution…Simran provides a chart; The Chart: The Symbols of Spring-A Time for New Beginnings. We are shown Flowers=Open yourself, show yourself: Green Grass-=Growing the foundation in the Heart…Warm Air=Feeling secure within yourself..Sunshine=Express Your Power…Rich Soil and Flowing Water=Receive nourishment..Baby Animals=Show movement from a place of Innocence..Fragrance of Newness=Breathe it all in.

Simran expresses as does Sheryl that all inspiration and creative thoughts, efforts, and manifestations come from the original Source or Universal Energy. Many times when we feel we have lost our way we may discover certain insects, or animals make their way into our experience. Since nothing is random these animals can teach us a lot about Self and the experiences we are engaged in. They may offer information about our present situation or our need to learn something..they may appear to you in manifesting as an image either in paper, stone, wooden carvings, pictures, postcards, statues or in real life. In observing their personal qualities and means of dealing with life, we may discover more about our own circumstances. An example: a dragonfly represents eternal life and implies the need to become aware of dreams, illusions and to break down illusions for transformation or change is coming. The dragonfly encourages you to see the truth in any situation or person and to remake yourself in a positive mold.

Music also has the ability to facilitate a connection to the heart and soul and that is healing. When thinking of the songs you resonate with, you may become aware that they reflect and mirror the situations you are involved with at the time. Sometimes songs are helpful in connecting with inner emotions and the experience of another person in your life..however the song may also be between you and God..every song is a hymn, a prayer, a ballad, a Love song and dialogues that intertwine masculine and feminine, heart and soul, Lover and Beloved.

In one way or another, we are each awakened at the most unexpected moments of our lives to a reality of truth beyond the illusions of the outside world. Simran writes, “Life may seem as if it would have you wander about without any clue or sense as to where you are going. In fact you are being guided, always in all ways, and if you disconnect your brain, you will be able to discern this. The areas of darkness you traverse appear unmarked but they are filled with the appropriate signs to direct you out of the dark night. As you call in your truth in your own way…begging, praying, stomping, screaming, or breaking down—the surrendered self will begin looking and opening to what is there. It is innate wisdom within your cellular structure to recognize, remember and reconnect. The heart will open and a new day will DAWN.”
